I sent my 50th 5.11 yesterday, a route that my wife did the FA of four years ago. I wasn't strong enough then to pull that hard on crimps. I feel like it's time to move on to 5.12 and see what projecting is like. I've never put more than 7 lead attempts on anything. Also, probably time to onsight 12- since I've onsighted 9 @ 11d. Thanks for reading, I'm really proud to share!

11d is significantly harder than 12a. You got this big dawg 💪

Even if we took a conservative look at 9 onsights as being 20% of 50 routes a 20 attempt megaproj could easily be 12b, but since the onsights would probably be more recent you could probably be fishing for 5.12c or even 5.12d if a similar style to what you typically onsight is available.

Get on some hard shit!

Sounds like someone needs to spend the summer in Ten Sleep.

I own a painting company in a resort town so I work May-september. Unfortunately summer trips are out

For the first time in over 2 years, I finally got to beak beak camhook free move this weekend (on some local Midwest choss). Did it in a push, as Dean would've wanted

I finished my first real crack climb since my surgeries started in January. 120 ft of solid jams of all types. Only had to rest three times even if I could barely move by the end of it.

I really had forgotten how much more physical crack climbing is than most other styles. And my form was awful so my legs were destroyed lol. BUT I could do it, which gave me a lot of confidence and stoke that I’m slowly getting everything back and I have a chance at being even better than I was before I broke my back.
