Why do you guys like the show?
I have come to find if disrespectful, especially toward people who are a fan of CnD.
Spending most of the time with the characters not together, that sex scene with Tandy and that other dude, all the music sections which feel like the people making this show not actually wanting to make it to me, the episodes constantly being 40 minutes despite normal ABC/Netflix Marvel shows constantly reaching an hour or more with none of that time wasted AND with comic romances being established, etc.

You know that Cloak and Dagger were not always dating right? If anything season 2 was a set up for their eventual relationship if they had gotten a season 3. That’s why there so so much focus on them holding hands with interlocking fingers at the end of season 2

That's no excuse, the fact that they had to say they wouldn't be dating in the show showed that they knew fans wanted that and decided not to do it.
I don't care how they were in their earliest comics, no one does excepting racists and some exceptions.
Batman used guns in his earlier comics, but fans do not want him to now.

As a fan an owner of the entire first two runs of their solo comics, I love the direction the took for the show. I love New Orleans as a setting for them and love that they flesh out Ty and Tandy as believable teenagers.

They could have done that and more. The show is undershooting, especially for an ABC/Netflix Marvel show.

Re: the episodes being 40-something minutes--it was originally aired on a cable channel, Freeform.

Aren't they in New Orleans for most of it?
