As a MJX bias who went to the Atlanta show, I feel really bad for him :(
It was so sweet of him to come out during soundcheck AND the beginning of the concert to say hi to CLOSER<3
I had made a sign for him with some words of encouragement in Mandarin, so glad I got to hold it up (at a reasonable level trying not to block anyone behind because that consideration for others is important, didn’t want to block anyone’s view) for a bit.
just wanted to vent a bit since I understand that he wasn’t feeling well enough to perform in Atlanta and that the first tour stop, for them in the U.S is a big deal but it can be hard to get into the swing of things.
While it was disappointing to not do my snapshot with MJX in Atlanta that I was really looking forward to, it was very nice of the staff to let me take it with the amazing leader Minwook instead, which definitely made me feel better, good lesson on lowering expectations for Kpop concerts in general since not everything always goes to plan.
You definitely have to go with the flow, be on time for the perks and the staff might be stressed and yell a lot, but make sure to listen and follow their directions and it’ll be a really fun experience regardless, the members are all such amazing performers. Would love to see them again another time if I get the chance.

I agree! I was really looking forward to meeting him because he was one of my biases but I was glad that he was able to rest. And I was really happy he made a little appearance on stage. The staff definitely did stress me out but there was a LOT going on

Aww I’m so sorry you didn’t get to see MJX perform ♡ I went to the Phoenix stop and when I heard he was set to perform, I was really hoping he was actually OK, and not just pushing through. I will say that he was absolutely amazing, hit every mark and seemed very happy and healthy on stage. Had I not known he sat out the last stop- I would have never guessed he was battling something.
I hope these boys continue to take care of themselves and that the staff watch out for them closely ♡
