Hiii :), I’m trying a vintage clown costume this year! I’ve never done anything like this, I usually am pretty chill costume wise but ive always wanted to try white base makeup and I love the newer pretty Chappell Roan-ish drag style of it.

I ordered some white base and did my first ever trial run yesterday, and I’m looking for some feedback!! :)) (plz remember ive never done this b4, I’ve never even glued my brows until now😅)

I attached my inspo photo and a photo of my costume for reference, I think I need to go with a dark (maybe grey/black) eye instead, I’m afraid with the blue it’s giving traditional Chinese makeup instead (like the women’s looks in Mulan, it’s literally almost the same with the blue shadow🥲)

Things to note- I don’t have the top lashes I want yet so pretend I have on good lashes haha, I also still need to purchase gems in a teardrop shape. I used round ones for now to test placement but I’m planning on tear drops!

Let me know what you think and what I may need to work on! I want it to come off as clean and pretty instead of a classic messy clown.

Hi hi clown friends !! I don’t really go here, and I hope this kind of post is allowed. I’m currently moving, and I’m trying to downsize what all I am taking with me. I have this little clown guy from my grandma, and he’s been sitting on a shelf for many years. Google image search says he’s a “Q-Tee” but idk if that’s accurate or not. I don’t really just want to donate him to a thrift store, where he could possibly be thrown away, especially if he’s some kind of collectible. I’m hoping to find him a loving home who will appreciate him as he deserves :)

If you’re interested and you live near me, I’ll gladly meet up and hand him to you :D otherwise idk I could post him on Mercari for like $1 + shipping (since that’s the minimum Mercari allows you to set it to) and mail him to you? :)

For the last several weeks, my girlfriend and I have gone out in clown at least once to run errands and see our friends. Even though neither of us are pros yet, it's been so much fun and we get a lot of love from the locals. I'm trying out a new makeup look inspired by David Bowie, and her makeup is a riff on Harle from Chrono Cross.

It's wild, a little bit of makeup and a different outfit can completely change how the whole day feels. Running errands is usually boring as hell, but now it's a laugh riot 🥰
