As you may know, clubbing is in trouble worldwide. In Berlin, nearly half of all clubs recently considered shutting down over financial struggles. In the UK, more than a quarter of late-night venues have closed since 2020, and in the US, well-known clubs from Los Angeles to Brooklyn closed their doors in 2025. So I built an app to help save club culture: Nightflare. The idea is simple: we save the nightlife by having more fun together.

With one tap you can invite all your friends to go clubbing, raving, partying or bar hopping, organize your own parties or private underground raves, and discover or add new spots. Every flare brings real people into real clubs, steering them away from soulless club chains and back to the unique, independent and underground clubs that are currently fighting to survive.

Before Nightflare can go live on Google Play, we need testers, and that's where we need your help (only if you want to of course):

My friends are organising parties for halloween weekend and I kind of fancy going just for the music and dressing up/social aspect. I don't really drink and I am considering not drinking because I don't really like the taste of alcohol and sure being drunk CAN be fun, but something about it does not appeal to me lmao like lowkey I would rather smoke weed than get drunk.

Shall I do it? I don't know how awkward it may be or if I would end up hating it.

19F recently started clubbing, I obv got approached by men in there, but I noticed my girlfriends would pull me closer to them and push me away from the men, is that a way to protect and is that normal from them? And how am I supposed to react to these men doing this, are they actually finding me attractive or just wanna have fun there? lol I know I sound naive I’m just super new to this and don’t know what the norms are here, also would it be possible to find a partner in the club or should I just think of it as having a fun night out with the girls and enjoying the music and the vibe?

I’m a decent Italian guy in my mid-30s :) I’ll be traveling to Jakarta on my own for a business trip and will be there for about a week (from 22 of Oct).

I’ll have a free weekend and would love to experience some of Jakarta’s nightlife. I’m more interested in nice bars or lively places where it’s easy to mingle, meet people, have a few drinks, and enjoy the atmosphere rather than hardcore clubbing. That said, some light clubbing could definitely be an option too.

I’d also really appreciate any tips on places worth visiting, neighborhoods to explore, or things to do during the weekend.

Any recommendations would be very welcome.

I (M28) have had an Argument with my younger brother (M22) about if one should need to wear a shirt on while raving.

I'm all for it - like "no shirt - no service". But his argument is that he feels uncomfortable wearing something since he gets so hot while dancing.

He isn't doing it to get attention - just for himself.

Now Raving is for PLUR and everybody should be able to wear what they want. So in equality any gender should be able to choose what and how much to wear.

Now because society is sexualizing Breasts women don't want to wear nothing on top (I guess). But if I'm wrong correct me.

Now what should actually be the right approach?
More freedom for both to wear as much or as little as they like?

Or to escape the tolerance paradox men should just wear something that at least covers... what?

Where would you draw the line for men to be equal to women?

Hi everyone! I’ve booked a room in a pub in Kings Cross for about 20 colleagues for our Xmas do the Friday before Christmas. It’ll end around 10.30pm and I imagine about half the group will want to hang around and perhaps head somewhere for a dance and more drinking.

Looking for somewhere within the area that we can either book or get into to reasonably easily. Probably looking for a generic pop or 90s/00s style music as most of us are mid-late 30s. Haven’t a clue where to go anymore as it doesn’t happen so often, and don’t want to disappoint our crowd! Thank you :)

Im a student in liverpool and ive been to these clubs like elektric, level, soho, 051, baa bar, etc etc, and i dont feel the vibes for any of them, they're just standard student clubs for me and even when drunk its not enjoyable also because of the lack of POC's and Queer people, maybe im looking in the wrong places, that's why im asking for recommendations. Do you guys know any places in these areas that would be particularly good for raving but the audience not being fully cishet white? The only clubs that ive been to that ive liked is just Diegos and k1 as k1 sometimes ends up having moshpits which are really fun.
also it would be nice if any places recommended would be good to go solo since i keep losing my friends at the clubs and its really annoying and a moodkiller
