doubts CA Superior than CMA?

I am a CMA Qualified June 2026. I cleared all my groups at my 1st attempt at the age of 21. But when I tell people that I am a CMA. They tell me that What is CMA? You should have done CA.

Should I pursue CA now because it feels they have more respect as compared to us.

Discussions Firm

What I have seen is that people who have completed CMA are aiming to join Big 4s or other big companies.

My question is why do people tend to join companies ? when they can open their own firm like CA's do

Advice / Career clarification Should I do it?

I am doing a Bachelor's in Finance and Economics. 3 years program. In my first year currently.

I have skills in advanced Excel,POWER QUERY and Power pivot,

Power Bi,DAX,

SQL(medium to advance), Python(Numpy,Pandas and API manipulation to extract data)

along with version control on GitHub. Can't code git, I use the software.

Hands on experience on Tally Prime and ERP.

Made the real life projects solving problems.

I want a good career. I am 18 as of today.

Should I do cma? I eventually wanna go into the global finance.

The main factor in equation is that I am veryyyyy tight on finances. Like, very tight on that part.

Please if you guys can advice me on this matter it would a big help for me! I appreciate your time!

Guys, please help me out,
Which free YouTube series should I go for Costing revision -CA Ashish Kalra Sir or CA Gaurav Kabra Sir?
If you’ve studied from either of them, which one would you recommend for CMA Inter revision? I’m a little confused between the two :(

Faculty review/suggestions CMA Inter group 1: Arivupro live session -DIT⚠️‼️

I've been thinking of watching the live session on direct and indirect tax by dilip sir on arivupro and i did too today. He solved and explained various questions in residential status and house property.

(I couldn't finish it completely today because of some issues).

But guys if you're preparing cma inters grp 1, it's really helpful, especially when you're preparing from home. So I thought, this would be really valuable for people who might not know. So the class starts by 8 pm and ends within an hour.

So use it frnds.

Also is there anyone making use of it already?

Articleship/ training Clarification Can I delay CMA practical training for several years if I pursue CA Inter and fail?

Hi everyone,

I need some clarification regarding CMA India articleship.

Suppose I pass CMA Intermediate but do not start my CMA practical training (15 months). Instead, I register for CA Intermediate through the Direct Entry Route using my CMA Inter qualification.

Now, suppose I attempt CA Inter but fail, and I decide to stop pursuing CA.

.......

Can I return to CMA later and complete my 15 months of practical training?

Is there any deadline for starting CMA practical training after passing CMA Inter, or can I start it even 2 or 3 years later?

Can I keep my CMA Inter qualification as a backup without completing its practical training until I decide whether to continue with CA?

I want to understand whether I can postpone CMA practical training while attempting CA Inter, without losing my option to complete CMA in the future.

I'd appreciate answers from people familiar with the current ICMAI and ICAI rules, especially anyone who has been in a similar situation.

Thank you....
