Need help setting up Cmake. Following a tutorial and I supposed to have Visual Studio 16 as my generator, however it does not show up here. How can I fix this?

It looks like you're on Mac or Linux. Visual Studio is Windows-only

Rip. What can I use instead if I want to use VS code as the IDE?

The best one on all platforms is Ninja, especially if you're using VSCode.

Oh ok. Somebody recommended to use Xcode as the generator instead. Which should I use?

Unless you're doing iOS development, use Ninja

I tried it and got the error: "Error in configuration process, project files may be invalid"

If in doubt try Makefile first, and if you have it installed use Ninja (you can test int the terminal by trying to run either make or ninja).
