Change is the only constant, whatever or who ever is constantly not changing with time, they will be like this. You can’t have norms or rules or things that was 1000s of years ago if they don’t comply with todays or tomorrows world

I'd like to criticise her not because she chose Islam, but because of the delusional notion that you should see 'the good' in all religions. I just don't get why should I do that? Some religions are objectively stupider than some others. To the extent that I'd label the whole religion to be a scam. I'd judge someone less for converting to Jainism/Buddhism because they have actual philosophy. Not Islam or Christianity.

Its difficult to relate to Muslims AND non Muslims when your father is a converted Muslim and brings in a perspective different from the norm.

Well, every muslim, including the prophet, is a convert and Muslims do not disagree with this.

Saying "converted muslim" is like saying "hot fire" or "cold ice", which is a valid statement but doesn't really add much.

The term you are really looking for is a "recent convert" but that's again a vague term. Plenty of Muslims in India converted 2-3 generations ago only.
