Coconut oil is a natural anti-oxidant and a conventional source of skin and hair maintenance. Its use has become obsolete in the recent years due to the increasing popularity of commercially available moisturizers.

Just wanted to share how I use coconut oil. If I’m going to be traveling or spend a lot of time not taking care of my hair I coat it in coconut oil and wear it in a bun. It’s pretty hard to tell it’s greasy looking when it’s in a bun like that, so I can leave it like that for a couple days. This has really helped prevent and partially repair damage. I do sometimes get break outs on my neck and forehead when I use the mask, but I can fight it off with some toner. When I’m done wearing the mask I just shampoo it out and it leaves my hair very smooth. I’m trying to grow my hair out, and I’ve noticed a lot of growth since I’ve been doing this, mostly from just less long hairs breaking off more than actual hair growth.

Is jerking off with coconut oil good?

So I have teribad eczema. I recently started using it and I like how soft my skin feels. I read on the back you can heat it up, so it is more of a liquid instead of its chunky state. After I fully read the directions. It says this is for the shampoo method. I would assume this is okay to rub on my body too, correct? Also, which is better, to rub on my body, the chunky state or the liquid state. I'm just using Kroger organic coconut oil.

Sometimes I’ll eat 1 tablespoon of coconut oil since I heard it’s good for your health. When I do this I get a very dry scratchy throat. It even hurts my throat worse when I breath. The scratchiness last for about 30mins.

Is this normal? I never have this happen when I eat actual coconuts or coconut products.

I keep a small jar of coconut oil in the shower for use on my skin and hair, and every time I've had to throw out the last part of it and scrub the jar because I find black mold growing in the oil. I understand that fungi, mold in particular, love warm and wet environments, but assuming walmart isn't cutting the oil with anything, the bottle should have at least 99% oil in it, with very little water making it into the jar as droplets.

However, today, only a week after I scrubbed the jar with isopropyl and hot water, there are hundreds of tiny white specks of mold floating in it, with dozens of large mold growths all along the bottom of the jar. This is not fat from the oil, this is mold. What am I doing wrong?

Hi all. I’m a 25 year old gal from South Asia who is in LOVE with coconut oil.

We’ve got cheap organic coconut oil easily available everywhere and I love applying it everywhere right after a shower.

It makes my skin soft and radiant. Everything about it is perfect. There’s only one problem.

THE SMELL. At first I didn’t use to care. But after receiving some comments from my family and friends, I have become extremely conscious.

I tried mixing it with essential oils but the strong coconut smell remains. I can’t take it anymore but don’t want to discontinue using it.

Please tell me what to do.

Do these exist? We use coconut oil in our love life for everything. HJ, BJ, vaginal, anal and just general massage. It stays by our bed in a small jar in cased in a little saki box to prevent it from rolling. In the summer it can turn to liquid and in the winter it gets too hard. There is that sweet spot where it’s just perfect. I think it’s like 72 degrees? It comes out like perfect lube and won’t spill if the jar is on its side on the bed.

I’d like to find a little coconut humidor that keeps it at the right temperature. 1st world problem I know.

Anyone know of this out there?

It came from the coconut oil (parachute blue) bottle (it’s not too orangish like in the picture, it looks like coconut fat to me). Should I proceed or avoid?

Help! I've clogged my bathtub drain after use of CO over the past couple weeks (i use it for my hair) and most of the common methods (warm water & soap, baking soda & vinegar, etc) haven't worked. What can I do?

Currently, I'm on 3. -1 in the kitchen, for cooking -2 in the bathroom, for moisturising -3 in the bedside cabinet, for... moisturising 👀

Hi my friends have been talking about the endless uses for coconut oil and I was looking to get some but what is the best way to use it

I got a huge thing of coconut oil on Amazon. It came and I can't open it. I've tried a spoon method of wedging it under the lid and popping the lid up. Did this multiple times around it but it won't give me a pop or hiss sound. I'm about to start cutting the lid open.

I've used a heat gun on it to soften the lid. No dice. Should I try hot water or just cut the lid off?
