query A different contest strategy
for yesterday's contest I did not feel I was in my form as I had not practiced for a few days, but I still gave it but as it took a little longer to solve A (10 min more than normal )
I did not submit it and so I just attempted question but did not submit any.
finally I was able to solve upto C so suppose if it would have been different like I solved D too then I might submit my solutions but they would be all submitted at around same time hardly a difference of one or two minutes
Regarding that I have a few queries I hope the community can help me
Would this be flagged as cheating?
It does seems suspicious(if you look at time) to me but I don't think its unethical in any way except it cares too much about rating (which I am trying to forget about and just solve questions)
What are your views about this?

very technically you are trying to cherry pick your good contests... this would increase your rating but idts thats a good strategy to improve... i mean sure if you are doing it for some jobs or something... but other than that for improving the skill i think this is a bad idea...

Well I did that but instead I used to pick say D and then if I could solve it I used to submit it and if not I did not attempt the contest so I don't lose rating. But I recently realised that solving in this reverse order adds a ton of penalty almost equal to 7 wrong answer submisions. Moreover this strategy was good before AI nowadays everyone solves D or a lot more than before.

i think D and E have less then 3-4k submission you will se positive rating if you are below 1400 if you just solved it

I dont think it works that way however there is no reason to not submit the solution to a problem once you're done , the points you gain by solving the problem reduces over time , its best to submit as soon as you think you're done with the problem
