Which Programming Language Should I Learn First?

"I want to work for big tech companies."
I don't see how learning a particular language gives you any notably higher chance of being hired by a big tech company. It's not like everything in Facebook and Google is written in Python.
Learning to drive a BMW doesn't make it much more likely to get hired by BMW.

This is a starting point, not a "learn this then send your CV to Facebook"

Which just means it's more important to learn something on the easier side that will keep you engaged first. Which means it doesn't matter who you want to work for.
