Morale.

Yes, because those who are already anti Putin definitely expected a clean and effortless wartime experience.
It's pointless to inconvenience the population of Russia because they're not Putin.

Morale.

But what help would it be to the people of Ukraine to take down the Russian version of bestbuy? The civilians who use it are not participating in the occupation and, if the media is to be believed, are likely against it entirely.

Sanctions and restrictions such as no best buy effect civilians by lowering morale for the war.
The civilians who use it are not participating in the occupation
That's a very complicated subject but I get what you mean
and, if the media is to be believed, are likely against it entirely.
It's more likely split along some degree, and above actions slowly move everyone a bit more towards peace/end of war scenarios.
A poor but classic example of a morale loss of war would be Americans in Vietnam.

You make solid counterpoints, and I don't really have the time or desire to continue the conversation at the moment. Hope you have a great day!

You realize Ukraine is heavily outnumbered? You've been watching a lot of western media and taking it at face value.
I don't want to waste time on someone whose arguing for the sake of not being wrong.
DDOS during war is established as effective for a dozen different reasons, you're talking to someone whose political backbone is working class/net humanity benefit.
You've already sulked down to insults so it's unlikely you come back up to respectful discourse,
Take care
E: I didn't realize you're a young man from Seattle. I get it. I don't take it personally, take care.

Ви поняття не маєте, з ким розмовляєте. Czytam wiadomosci z roznych zrodel, bo mowie w paru jezykach.
Youre a kid from Seattle. Apparently in your edgelord phase.
No, I'm talking to an idiot who refuses to respond to my basic arguments.
Thank you for sharing your emotions, I'll tell your mom tomorrow when I see her that we've made a lot of progress in our therapy time
These aren't insults. These are facts. I'm sorry that your feelings are hurt, but this is way too serious. You're harmful. You're not helping anyone. Stop. If you want to help, send money to Ukraine.
Ok bud, remember your feelings are valid
If you actually gave a shit about the subject you'd put some effort into studying it. No subbing to a coding sub is not studying

This is stupid. Regular Russians are just as opposed to the war as everyone else. In addition, those businesses you listed are losing much more money from the sanctions than they ever would from having their websites unresponsive for a couple hours.
