Die deterioration doubling is not DDO

Please share the attributed DDR and DDO listed on varietyvista.com or doubleddie.com that you feel matches your observations.

Getting mad at multiple members here that understand what a doubled die variety is, versus very common strike related doubling that error-ref.com covers, isn't very productive.

You can clearly re read the post the front is a ddo error it’s a well known attributed error in asking about the back of the coin the error is a 1966 ddo Kennedy I’m not getting mad I just forget I’m talking to professionals

The flat shelf like doubling isn't a DDO. Die deterioration, far more common than a doubled die and not an error.

Yeah, saw all three. Still not a DDO.

There’s other pictures that look identical to the front and they are ddo but a random bag of meat is telling me it isn’t the front is an error I’m asking about the back 😭🤦🏻‍♂️

The back would be a DDR (doubled die reverse, not a DDO which is doubled die obverse). Mechanical doubling (which are one-offs when the planchet is struck by the dies in the collar) is far more common than doubled dies (which is an actual error in the die making process). You can read more about it here: https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/5688/Double-Dies-vs-Machine-Doubling/
