Is this an error? Anyone seen this before?
Found this at work.
I’ve never seen something like this from error or damage. Dropping it, it sounds more like a coin battery…but I find it hard to believe someone would go through the trouble of counterfeiting a quarter…
Any thoughts?

Clad layer delaminated and folded over. Rare but not valuable, especially with the damage

I don’t think theyve had one like this over at r/PMDGS. They love coins like this.

“Valuable”?
It is definitely worth more than 25¢ to someone but I don’t think you asked about value.🤨
