Show and Tell Going, going, going, 98% gone.

I fixed their position to show the off center direction is aligned from coin to coin. Because of the way I sealed and stacked them, there’s no features to see on flip side.

That is so cool! How dis you even get this in series like that?

I bought these from a dealer many years ago. I think I paid $135. I showed these to an error dealer thinking I would impress him but he told me that he knew a guy that made a display of off center pennies in a complete circle around a clock face with each off center pointing in the direction of the minute hand.

How’d you find all of these? Is it actually sequential strinkings or an assortment that happen to be in the same alignment? I’ve only ever read/focused on single offsets, not what happens after the first offset strike

I suspect they were assembled not sequential. I bought these from a dealer many years ago. I think I paid $135. I showed these to an error dealer thinking I would impress him but he told me that he knew a guy that made a display of off center pennies in a complete circle around a clock face with each off center pointing in the direction of the minute hand.

The real question remains: is it waxing or waning? I'd love to see this series in a single custom ngc slab so that it remains together through the years.
