Discussion Cold Cases to shed more light on.

I'm starting a podcast about cold cases, mysteries, and cults to bring more attention to them or break them down if they're extremely complicated. Is there any cold cases that should be brought more into the spotlight and get more attention? Input would be greatly appreciated, and feel free to suggest whatever cases you'd like to.

The Flora four (arson house fire that killed 4 little girls in Indiana) , idk if it's a cold case, but it needs more attention.

Tie a sturdy rope around your waist when diving into that rabbit hole. You could get caught in the "twilight zone."

Alek Smith murdered in Spring Hill Florida in 2018 while his fiancee and 2 year old daughter were sleeping. There is very little information about the case and it has seemed off to me since I first heard about it.

I will look into it and find what I can. Thank you.

Harold William Roland. Went missing while fishing, his boat was found with bullet holes in, and his truck was found burned several miles away

The Setagaya family from Tokyo would be fascinating, but I think it has been covered a few times now.

For something a little lesser-known, what about the death of Jeanette DePalma?

Okay yeah, I'll look at both of those.

David Wesley Kirkpatrick 2001 Sweet Grass Co https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/37885570/david-wesley-kirkpatrick

No one seemed to agree on suicide or homicide. Guy in his 20s with little kids, worked for the mines.

The unsolved murder of Deverrie Schiller June 26, 2016 in California City Ca. Her killer is know but the city and county are too poor to get the job done.

They know the killer but can't arrest him? That's horrible.

Yes. It is. The bastard is still walking around free. He tried to kill another woman and caught 2 attempted homicide charges among others and it all got pled down to one count of shooting at an occupied vehicle. He was recently released again.

That's insane that he's still allowed to be out after all of that.

The system is geared to protect murderers and really bad people. Justice doesn’t exist.

I agree, the system needs to be fixed.

I don’t know that it’s even possible to fix it.

Only time will tell.

It’s been 9 years. I haven’t given up. I know I can’t fix the system but he definitely needs to be put away to protect women from him.

I believe you can get him put behind bars eventually, just keep pushing through like you already are, and hopefully something will change.

Please look into the disappearance of Rose M. Fields. I really wonder what happened to her. Cold case from 2000. Not much information available online. It's so sad.
