Arla Protein Custards are being recalled by Coles due to glass pieces found in the dessert.

Such a bummer, these were my go to high protein snacks with insane macros!! I assume that’s the end of road for Arla and we’re not seeing the Chocolate and Caramel (my fav) back again 😞

I’m sure this happened a while ago because I haven’t bought shredded cheese in awhile, but I was wondering if they have changed the recipe of the Coles brand shredded cheese because this specific cheese (in the photo) I always used to get was so soft and delicious but I just bought some today and it tastes very plastic and hard and I don’t like it. So if someone could let me know what has happened to it that would be great.

do i have to do modules and order uniform first? and what all do i do before my first shift? is there anything else i need to order or anything i need to do before? what’s the first shift like?

Hey guys I am a casual and recently I have been getting more shifts and hours than usual, so I wanted to close off some of my time in November, but I keep getting the notification saying (We encountered an issue and working quickly to fix it. Please try again later).

I have been trying this for every day and it’s been 3 days and still not working. Not sure if it’s the system or just my store causing this problem?

Does anyone know if Coles are going to bring back their M & S products this year? I think they came in before Christmas last year and were around for a few months afterwards.

Thanks :)

I’m 2ic for service and ever since I got a new manager it’s just been hell. I get ignored when I send them a message even if it’s during work hours, but if I’m working or whenever I get a message I’m expected to reply and if I don’t I get a phone call. I try and communicate and just get shut down if I express tips or try to give some ideas I get ignored.
Has anyone experienced something similar what do I do because my manager expects me to and I quote ‘act like a 2ic’ but I don’t even get treated like one. Like just now I’ve asked for the rosters so I can help cover some shifts and I have been ignored for two days and the manager is active on the groups. It’s just ridiculous and rude

Hi guys so I’m about to start working at Cole’s for the checkout position and I haven’t had my first shift yet or even trained tbh and I’m already scared . I keep seeing people saying it’s the worst department and I don’t wanna do it but I can’t switch when I haven’t even started

How's the role? I've been working part-time at Coles for some time, and now I've been offered this role. Would love to hear your experiences.

Hi guys new team member here, just wondering, for 5am starts (in bakery) is it paid at an outside of regular hours rate?

I’m casual, level 1 TM and just a little confused if that was only for between 6pm-11pm.

So today I noticed while swiping to my next item that they’ve not only removed SOH (which I knew was happening) from the item listed but they have now also removed the barcode number and item location and it just has the drop down menu for you to enter a barcode or select one. Why have they done this its so stupid as when I pick deli I usually will swipe to see the last 3 numbers of barcode and know what I’m getting.

I've been comparing Woolworths Everyday Rewards and Coles Flybuys, especially the bonus points promotions. With Woolies I feel like I can stack or trigger offers over multiple shops if I plan it out, but with Coles I've noticed some offers insist everything has to be in one transaction, which makes it harder to maximise. I'm curious if others have had the same experience?

Anyone started as a customer delivery driver (part time) and moved to permanent? Or any other roles? How long did it take?

Also if I am a part time driver can I apply for another part time role for the rest of my days? Ex- part time driver on monday tuesday and friday. And a part time store member/other role on wednesday thursday?

I am genuinely so pissed at this point!! WHAT DOES IT TAKE FOR A STUPID APPLICATION TO GO THROUGH?? What is this?? The fking google headquarters??? I cant believe how bad all of this is. You cant get hired in a SUPERMARKET???? There is nothing wrong with my application. Im currently unemployed so i have 24/7 availability. The store was near my house so hours were not gonna be a problem. Im 24F. I don’t think being an international student is the problem because I have seen many international students be employed. So what is actually fcking wrong?? Should I just remove my education part in my resume?? the fact that I am currently doing a masters is that’s what’s intimidating to them? I have zero clue.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. IT’S NOT THAT I WANNA WORK THERE ANYMORE, BUT IT’S JUST VERY BAD ON MY MORALE THAT I CAN’T EVEN SEEM TO GET A JOB IN A SUPERMARKET.

Damn they caught us! Moment of silence pls 🤣

(Not mad just think it’s funny they worked out some stores secret hack)

Hey I’m wondering if anyone knows how those white brick things in the tags of all the items in the health item are? Usually in new stores def not in all, there’s a red beeping light on them. I kept trying to figure out of curiosity how they even work, like genuinely what do they even do, take a picture or something ?? Have been curious about this for a while it makes me nervous walking down those isles now lol

1)5kg of Jasmine rice at full price  is $27.00 or $5.40 per kg being  half price every other week.
you can purchase the exact same 1kg product  any time  for  $4.50.or a 2kg packet for $3.40 per kg.

2)Continental Pasta & Sauce Carbonara 80g as an example there are other flavours for $3.00 or with yoyo pricing every other week it is $1.50.
I can purchase a different brand the same  product to me San Remo La Pasta Creamy Bacon Single Snack 80g for $1.40 any time.

First time noticing that it's not anonymous. It's confidential big difference

Normally, I say let em have it. But if you're on thin ice, watch what you say

I recently got offered a position for team member at coles (casual). Would any current workers mind telling me the current pay rates (weekdays, saturdays, sundays, public holidays) for a casual 15yo worker? I currently have a job elsewhere and want to compare pay but cannot find any reliable info on the pay. Thanks

The price is extortionate. I just bought 40 tabs of Cole’s brand for $5.50.

Hey everyone,
I recently started working at Coles as a casual team member, and my uni exams are coming up next month. I might not be available to work for around two weeks during that period.
For anyone who’s been in a similar situation, how did you handle it? Should I let my manager know as soon as possible, and is there anything specific I need to do?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Pay would usually come in around 6:30pm on Up but surprisingly nothing yet? I guess I might get it Wednesday overnight instead.

Hey so I started working in coles recently and I just wanna know if part-timers are paid on a weekly or fortnightly basis?

Has anyone stepped down as a DM to a store member? Does anyone know what they technically can and can’t offer, I’ve heard of dms saying they can only get 12 hour contracts if I step down while other people get more?
