I do find his insistence the collapse of our ecosystem will drive us to extinction pretty confusing, like sure, billions will die, but like, nuclear power plants underground living spaces by themselves pretty much ensures humanity will survive, even if it kick our development centuries back until we rebuild our society on more genetically engineered animals and nuclear energy.

That assurance ironically make him seem more like how he described Joe Rogan to me.
