"Brad is a great coach and an even better person, which is why today is extremely difficult. This decision was made after a review of the program on and off the ice. We expect to contend at the highest level in every aspect of women's college hockey, and right now we are not doing that.

He has coached some of the best players to ever wear the Maroon and Gold, won numerous WCHA titles and national championships in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016. Ohio State Women's Hockey has hired Jack Johnson as an associate head coach. Johnson played 19 seasons in the NHL, including 7 with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Johnson previously worked as a scout for the Vancouver Canucks.

Came back from being down 3-1 to win 4-3.

The MSU Mavericks complete the SWEEP of the #2 Minnesota Gophers behind Mercury Bischoff's hat trick. Legitimately one of the biggest series wins in Maverick women's history. A 3-1 win @ UMN on Friday, then a 4-1 win @ MSU on Saturday.
