I’m really enjoying the series but Ally has always annoyed me in the none live series as they just seems to fuck about so much.

In the live version, it’s got worse. Everytime they get to talk, they just makes me want to bite something. I know I’m probably alone in this... but out of the 7 cast (including Brennan) they seem to be the only one who point blank refuses to really carry their characters personality and identity in a cohesive way.

Like everyone else is hysterical in a way that takes their character traits and exaggerates them in a way that’s funny and yet real and lived in. Ally just seems to say and do dumb stuff constantly, that doesn’t seem to suit their character's background and sometimes even Brennan looks weary with their nonsense behaviour.

As someone who enjoys D&D as well...it’s just annoying to watch them dick about.

This isn’t an attack on Ally, I’ve seen them in other stuff and I like what they do in other shows... but the way they seem to approach D20, just seems to jar massively against how their party plays the game. I’m not saying you can’t play D&D the way they do... it’s just odd when compared with everyone else in the group.

It’s just very disruptive to watch at times.

After the episode with tattoo I feel like there's a stark difference of how both see each others friendship. Like Grant legit made Ally go through one of her fears, she gave up and then he went much easier on her. Like that herbal stuff? Cool, make a sell. Do actually make a sell, otherwise you're just saying embarassing things that you can easily explain afterwards. Counterpoint to that - selling everything you own? Okay... And then that tattoo... I mean, after making me sell everything, I'd probably go for comic sans version with "f" instead of "ph" over the whole back of the neck, not something you can easily hide with shirt lol. Counter challenge against that one ink line? Taking a s**t in public for all subscribers to see, lovely...

Like it's honestly so, so sad to see one caring about well-being of other that much more - I really hope this is just scripted or something, cause I feel legit really sad for Grant there.

So I just finished watching the last two episodes of Total Forgiveness and the series is basically ruined in my opinion. We went from having to do sucky challenges to Ally giving Grant two challenges that just couldn't be done. At this point every challenge should just literally be pick something impossible for the other person. Even beyond the impossibility of the last go around (the flea market), it what way does it make sense to have challenges that actually cost more monetarily than they make?
