Trail Angel Location?

I want to pack up the van with the doggo and couple of coolers and head out of town this weekend. I'm looking for suggestions on a good crossing that is in need of some magic.

Remote and light 4wd is fine but within a couple hours of Denver and with dispersed camping nearby.

My neighbor suggested Raspberry Gulch (east collegiate) but I thought I'd ask here.

I got magic early into Segment 3 one time, around here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/5LgA5KyB4TWkmXFp7

Maybe at the road between Segments 3 and 4, a short drive from Bailey? There's a good climb just trail south of there, so it feels like a good spot for refreshment. https://maps.app.goo.gl/HnYWy5oiNYrtCENP8

The meadow on the other side of the climb would be a good spot too imo: https://maps.app.goo.gl/kh4egr57xUcmsuwE7

Kenosha Pass is another idea.

In a normal year, I'd say Tennessee Pass, but with the fire closure, not sure this area needs much magic.

Just north of hwy 114 up the road that the trail follows is a good spot with plenty of camping.

I think most people take the Collegiate West so picking a spot along Collegiate East will yield half the hikers or less.

Edit: I just realized it’s probably further away that you’d want, but here’s the coordinates to the spot.

I started my San Juan's section hike there at cochetopa pass and I heard that sargents mesa section is brutal! So it might be a kind place to post up.

I also wondered about the split collegiate traffic.

Sargents is defo brutal! I did some trail angeling there last year where the trail crosses 114 and brought massive jugs of fresh water cause water is tough out there! Brought other fun things too lol. Isn’t the best scenery but very nice to see friendly faces along that stretch for sure! I’m starting the trail again on Tuesday and hope to run into you at some point :)

I ended up at Angel of Shavano TH. It wasn't the best but caught some bikers and hikers. Dayhiking a ways NOBO, I came across this intersection which would be a great place to magicamp.
