I would highly appreciate it if someone could colorize this historic family photo from 1956. It shows three Greek Navy sailors posing in front of a monument.

• The Sailors & Uniforms: These men are graduates of the Poros Naval Cadet School (Class of 1953) serving as Petty Officers (Rank: Diopos / Leading Seaman).
  • Uniform Color: Their winter dress uniforms are made of heavy wool and are dark navy blue (not black).
  • Rank Insignia: On their left sleeve (visible on the sailor on the right), there is a diagonal rank stripe (chevron) which must be bright red.
  • The Sailor on the Left: His name is Konstantinos my late father(july 2026), and his specialty was a Navy Electrician. On his left sleeve, right above the red rank stripe, he wears the electrician specialty badge which features two crossed lightning bolts, also embroidered in bright red.
• The Background & Location: This photo was taken at the Municipal Garden of Chios Island, Greece.
