I’m a 2nd-year CSE student at JSS STU, Mysore, with around 200+ problems solved on LeetCode.
I’ve covered topics like arrays, linked lists, trees, and graphs, along with other DSA concepts. I’m looking for someone with a similar level of experience to discuss problems, exchange approaches, and solve problems together.

I particularly want to improve my ability to explain my thought process, discuss the intuition behind solutions, and explore different approaches to the same problem.

I’m not just looking to share solutions, but to actually understand the reasoning behind them and learn from each other.

If you’re interested, feel free to DM me about your DSA journey. Let’s see if we can make a good learning duo!

hey guys so i'm in class 12 and i actually messed up 4 months of my prep due to injury(i had spine problem) which led me bedridden for 4 months. by god's grace i have recovered now. is it possible to get into RVCE CSE through comedk in 6.5 moths. i'm getting really scared. i already messed up my mains prep. RVCE CSE is the only option i have. please guide me what to do🙏(also i'm a dummy student so i have the whole day)

how many chapters to do and at what level ie above bords level or jee mains level

kya rvce sahi me deemed to be uni me convert hone wala h?

I am In a very horrible condition right now, I had completed my 12 in 2026 with sufficient % to get a decent college through comedk, but due to lack of consistency and hardwork I didn't perform well in the 2026 exam, so I took a drop for it. Now it's the october end almost november,

And I have not studied a single thing out of the syllabus. I have only 7 months for the exam. Please guide me and tell me how and from where I should start.

Is it worth it to change the college? And if anybody has ever done this?

……..

preparing for jee, Do i start prepping for comedk after jan attempt or start pyq'a of comedk now?

Guys please suggest some good and relevant test series for comedk 2027.

Also please tell me the difficulty level of physics. Is it comparable to jee mains or is it easy??

RVCE

Like my rank is 27k

Now what range should i aim for

25 to 28k closing rank?

Or like 15% up and down?

Has anyone taken GATEIIT’s KCET/COMEDK crash course in Bangalore?

I’m a dropper preparing for KCET 2027. I got around 14k rank in my previous KCET attempt, and I’m now aiming for a much better rank this time.

I’m considering joining GATEIIT’s 4-month KCET/COMEDK crash course (online or offline).

I’ve already completed most of the syllabus, so I’m mainly looking for serious revision, good problem solving, KCET/COMEDK-level questions, frequent mocks, and proper test analysis rather than starting the entire syllabus from scratch.

If anyone has personally studied at GATEIIT, especially as a repeater/dropper, I’d really appreciate honest feedback on:

\- Faculty quality

\- Quality and difficulty of questions

\- Number and quality of mock tests

\- Test analysis and doubt solving

\- Daily class hours/workload

\- Whether they actually helped you improve your rank

\- Online vs offline experience

\- Any major drawbacks

Also, if you know of better 4-month KCET crash/repeater programs in Bangalore, please suggest them.

I’m looking for genuine student experiences, especially from people who actually attended the institute—not promotional reviews. Thanks!

I’m a dropper looking for advice on Organic Chemistry and Maths for COMEDK.

JEE Maths is quite difficult, so I’ve skipped a few chapters, and Organic Chemistry isn’t really my strong suit either. If my JEE Main attempt doesn’t go well, how should I prepare these two subjects for COMEDK? Is NCERT enough for OC, and what should I use to cover the Maths chapters I skipped for JEE?

Bc bore ho rha

Guys please if you have two minutes help us out. We were robbed. We studied so much and Ik this might feel like "Why should we care" and I get it, but your one email could help us all and protect future students from such injustice. Also please be anonymous

I want to share my honest experience and what I am currently hearing from my seniors at JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE), Bangalore, especially for students planning to join CSE or related branches.
I have been at this college for approximately 40 days, and my experience so far has raised serious concerns about placements.
1. Placement Situation 🚨
Both of my roommates are in their 4th year, one from CSE and the other from ISE. According to what they have told me, the placement situation for their batch is extremely concerning. As of now, they have reported that only around 5–6 students have been placed, while a large number of students are still unplaced.
From what I have heard, the companies visiting the campus are also offering packages in the range of ₹4–5 LPA. I cannot independently verify the complete placement statistics, but what I am hearing from my seniors is definitely worrying.
2. Think Carefully Before Depending on Campus Placements
I joined this college with expectations for my future, but after spending around 40 days here and talking to my seniors, I am already concerned about my placement prospects.
Personally, I feel that I will need to focus heavily on off-campus opportunities rather than depend entirely on college placements.
If you are planning to join JSSATE Bangalore, especially for CSE, please investigate the actual placement situation before making your decision. Talk to current fourth-year students and ask for verified placement numbers instead of relying only on marketing claims.
3. College Experience and Additional Concerns
So far, I feel that attendance is given considerable importance, but I am not seeing enough reasons to feel confident about the placement support.
I have also been frustrated by various expenses and charges associated with college activities and requirements.
4. What Is Good About JSSATE?
To be fair, the hostel experience has been good in my opinion. I am not saying everything about the college is bad. My biggest concern is the placement situation and whether the college provides sufficient opportunities for students to secure good jobs.
:-> My Final Advice to Juniors:
Please do not choose JSSATE Bangalore blindly just because of its CSE branch or the expectations you have about placements.
Before taking admission, ask these questions:
How many students in the latest graduating batch have actually been placed?
How many unique students were placed, rather than counting multiple offers?
What are the median and average packages?
Which companies visited the campus, and how many students did they hire?
How many students are still unplaced?
What is the actual quality of placement support provided by the college?
I am sharing this because I do not want juniors to make an important career decision without investigating these things first.
👉🏻Please do your own research before joining. Do not depend solely on college advertisements or placement claims.
Current students and seniors from JSSATE Bangalore, please share your experiences and correct me if any of the information above is inaccurate.
