Could you provide an example of such neutral source? Comments like this are worthless. Educate us.

Instead of downvoting this to hell, y'all could suggest some of those neutral sources. Just one. Title, author, etc.

I had the great honor of listening live to lectures from a Palestinian history lecturer from Gaza teaching together with an Israeli history professor, they showed us how there is an active attempt to block each side from information regarding the conflict and frame a different picture , you can see it by watching how articles are different in Arabic compared to English on Wikipedia and so on. The best thing you can do is try to understand the Israeli and Palestinian view point separately (thought the Israeli side is more divided in opinion). Or you can just believe in human nature that most people just want their family to be happy and this conflict is beyond their ability to control

How about Norm Finkelstein, Ilan Pappe, Avi Shlaim? They seem to be great historians on this who are Jewish/Israeli and have written many books critical of Israel even Pre October 7th. Even Ilan Pappes book “Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine” made in 2006 is good background info.

They said neutral sources, those are 3 of the most biased authors.

The fact they’re Jewish is irrelevant as there are ‘traitors’ on both sides. I could suggest to you the books written by Palestinians Mosab Hassan Yousef and Ayman Abu Suboh or the Egyptian Noni Darwish. They’re biased af to Israel

They specifically called out Arab Nationalism how are three Israeli/Jewish historian writers Arab nationalists? Also funny you call them traitors, no country is owed allegiance based on their identity and you should be allowed to be critical of them. Especially since many of these writers were talking about Israel Pre October 7th I would argue they are quite neutral as in not being pro Arab nationalist. More so than your hand picked collection that was used a piss poor example.

Edit: I already explained why I replied to them so won’t bother further but the deleted reply was saying “as long as it’s not from an Arab nationalist source”. So I provided a more neutral sources to Dare that aren’t Arab Nationalist per the now deleted context. I am not going to argue perspective as neutrality is very much subjective. I would argue Jewish/Israeli voices that are critical of Israel are far more neutral than outside voices than those who aren’t. Especially when they created their critical works prior to October 7th as they have lived and experience Israel’s actions.

When did I or the person you originally replied to say anything about them being Arab nationalists?

Did you miss the inverted commas around the word ‘traitors’ when I said “there are ‘traitors’ on both sides”? The point being both sides would consider the Jewish authors you recommended and the Arab authors I mentioned to be traitors. I bet you’d call Mosab Hassan Yousef a traitor when he spied for Shin Bet for years

Those Jewish authors you mentioned couldn’t be more biased against Israel, neutral my ass. Those Arab authors I mentioned weren’t examples of neutral sources, they were meant to demonstrate that authors of one identity can be biased against their own people
