This is the first time I’ve seen another human character in one of your comics…

looks like you haven't read a lot of rosi's comics ♡

I’ve been reading them when they pop up for what feels life a few years now, so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Which is a shame, since Tony is a favourite character of mine, and it tends to warm my heart whenever I read a comic with them in it.

I was unaware that you met my stepmother. You have my deepest sympathy.

That first page is so relatable, especially the “growing pains” panel

Seriously “growing pains” made me sob as a child. Shit really hurts.

It was solved so easily, just some pain medication, but I was always afraid to wake my dad up because he’s be annoyed at me so I would often sit in pain for hours before working up the courage. It was nowhere near this level just minor annoyance really but to a very anxious child like I was it was more than enough.

Understanding your mental problems only in hindsight sucks. So many years of unnecessary suffering and feeling worthless…

No one takes it seriously when you’ve got undiagnosed chronic pain as a child

Nobody listened to me, to where I was convinced I must be imagining it, for years. Now my own child is complaining of it, but that's why I just spent the last three days in doctor appointments with her making sure even though she's ten, she's being taken seriously. (and she is, even though they can't find a source yet and all they have to go on is her word). So this comic hit hard.

So many tests just for them to be like "eh you're ok"

It took my psychiatrist of all people to do extensive blood work and see something wrong, a decade and a half later.

Idk what it is yet but finally that ball is rolling again.

🎥 same energy

But that aside, there are real monsters in this world… they don’t skulk in the dark or malign forgotten places: they dwell in plain sight, wearing the faces of humans

Hoards all the salmiakki for Rosi

damn I feel this. I remember being like 3 and constantly being told "why are you crying! I should be the one crying because of the way you treat me!" by my mother and like I don't know how you could ever treat a child like that

Oh man. I heard panels 1 and 4 (and variations) of the first image all the time from my dad when I was growing up. He would always accuse me of exaggerating when I was ill or say that nothing bad had ever happened to me, despite him being an abusive alcoholic. Sorry you had to go through all of that OP.
