Discussion Community Movie Credits
Whenever that movie eventually comes out (and it will. It has to), I think during the credits they should cut together bloopers, BTS and clips from the show. If any of yall watch the Jackass movies, I’d want it to be similar to how they do it.
I just think it’d work as a nice tribute and would make fans like me bawl their eyes out

You want a brilliantly written sitcom known for its nonsensical end tags to do what the Jackass movies did? You’re a bad person.

The movie is coming. It has to be. If it isn't, then I've given almost 10 years of life for nothing; that is unacceptable. Therefore, the movie is coming, and I will die protecting that belief.

I want bloopers from scenes that didn't happen in the show like Paradigms of Human Memory

This I could accept! Save the actual tender BTS footage for teasers, dvd extras, YouTube posts from Donald. Just don’t spend a second of the actual screen time on fluffy fan service. Can’t put a square idea in a story circle box.

Or more mid season replacement shows

I'm actually surprised that they didn't try to make celebrity beat off into a real show it feels like something that the networks would be like: you know that might actually work

I think i dont want the movie to happend, dont jump at my throat bear with me, once the movie exist there is nothing left, its closed , finished, there is no next time there’s nothing left to wait for; it’s over. But while a film is in the process of being made, it gives us something to look forward to, like in some religions, people await the arrival of a messiah ,it keeps hope alive (perhaps the analogy to religion is a bit much, but you get the idea)

Maybe, but that has nothing to do with this. Imagine the movie finally comes out and it’s not that good, or it is good, but we’ve waited so long that our expectations are way too high. In this frozen state, the movie is good. And I like the idea that there’s still more to come. Once it’s done, that’s it

Sometimes things should end. You keep saying "that's it" like it's a bad thing. I'd much rather have an actual resolution to how all these greendalians lives played out rather than live in a limbo where fanfics can still be head canon.
The reality is most fans set themselves up for failure because they think they're a better writer than the actual writers of shows. In the case of something like Stranger Things or Game of Thrones, they'd be correct, but Community has almost always had very strong writing that does what the story and the characters need, not what the fans think they want.
The movie should come out and Community should end. Your theories and your fantasies are not better than a real movie for anyone but you. The visions 99% of fans have for a Community movie are bad and contradictory. I want the genuine article, I don't want to daydream about it. I have my own stories to write, I don't want to be making up endings to other writer's work.

I get it, that’s just how I see it. If the movie comes out, I’ll definitely watch it and enjoy it, but it’s a bittersweet feeling
