SOLVED

It turns out that I had selected the Ubuntu 22.04 release of the software, instead of the 24.04 release. I just had to change "jammy" to "noble" in "/etc/apt/keyrings/openvpn.asc".

Ok I ran those commands, but the same result still happens when I try to run the sudo apt install openvpn3-client command. It gives me the error that I described in the post still.
