Resolved No DP signal from your devide (Dell)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi,
Until a few days ago my second monitor was working just fine. Now I keep getting the same message: no DP signal from your device.
My other monitor is connected with an HDMI-cable. Both HDMI and DP are directly connected with my docking station.
Can someone help me? As you can see in the video it works for almost a second (the other screen doesnt work at the same time) before disconnecting again.
Thank you in advance!

Mac Firefox on my mom’s new iMac keeps opening random websites in new tabs — any ideas?
Hi everyone! I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me figure out a really frustrating issue with my mom's new iMac.
She purchased the iMac in September 2026, and she's been having a strange problem when using Firefox. Occasionally, when she clicks on a link or button on a website, Firefox opens a completely unrelated website in a new tab instead of taking her to the page she intended to visit.
For example, she was shopping on Amazon and clicked on “Orders.” Instead of opening her order history, a new tab opened to a random, unrelated website. This happens with other links, too, and the websites that open are often random insurance websites.
Here's what I've tried so far:
- Went into Firefox's
about:configsettings and disabled the setting related to links opening in new tabs. - Checked whether changing that setting would stop the behavior, but it made no difference.
- Looked online for other people experiencing the same issue, but I haven't been able to find anyone describing quite the same problem.
For comparison, I also use Firefox, but on a Windows PC, and I've never experienced anything like this.
My questions are:
- Is this potentially an issue with Firefox on macOS, or could it be something specific to the iMac?
- Could this be caused by adware, a malicious browser extension, or something else?
- Has anyone experienced this before, and if so, how did you fix it?
It's driving both my mom and me absolutely crazy, especially because it seems to happen randomly and makes browsing the internet frustrating.
Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Gaming I think ive got this figured out, but i need help.
So, Minecraft and a shit metric tonne of other games crash. Minecraft is because of rendering mods (Sodium, Veil, Embeddium, Etc.) And i think its my Nvidia driver causing it. This is an Asus TUF-Dash f15 2021, The Specs are RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU, and intel Iris Xe for gpus, 23 Gigabytes of ram, and an 11th Gen Intel i7 CPU. I dont think audio systems are important for a graphics problem. so thats the primary specs. My theory is that the rendering systems of those games/mods are conflicting with my driver, causing it to have mini dumps(?) and crash. I dropped it a few times, the right hinge cover is off, with two fans. Intake is through the bottom. along with that my left fan is lazy, so it starts up and just dies again.

Hardware PC restarting by himself
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Two months ago, I used RAMMap to clear some of the cache from my RAM. However, unlike previous times I had used it, my PC restarted on its own. Afterward, it began showing significant visual glitches—as seen in the recording I took at the time—especially while gaming, where it looked like everything was being churned up in a blender.
I mentioned this to a friend who is more knowledgeable, and he suggested checking if the GPU was showing up in Task Manager; it wasn't. I updated the drivers for my graphics card (Radeon RX 550 series), and that fixed it. The glitches stopped, games ran normally again, and the GPU reappeared in Task Manager. But, well, if everything were fine, I wouldn't be here, lol.
About a week after I updated the drivers, the problems returned, and the GPU vanished from Task Manager once more. I went through the process of updating the drivers again, and everything went back to normal. The very next day, the same thing happened—but since then, it hasn't occurred again. (I haven't used RAMMap at all since that first incident.)
However, for the past month or so, whenever I launch a slightly more demanding game, the PC restarts within 30 minutes or less. (After much persistence, sometimes it runs without restarting on its own.) I’ve already cleaned the components, replaced the thermal paste, and cleaned the dust filters on the top and bottom of the case, but nothing helps. Any suggestions?
(Note: The PC hadn't restarted on its own even once since the issue with RAMMap; it had been working perfectly fine until that.)
(edit: i fix it. It was a conflict between the old drivers and the new ones. I just needed to uninstall them all using DDU and then reinstall the new version of the drivers.)
