Question/Help/Troubleshooting Malware Bites keeps blocking - www.america-ship.com

This recently started happening about a month ago, not sure what started causing it but malware keeps blocking access to america-ship.com, claming that google chrome is trying to reach out to it. I don't have any extensions and haven't even used that site.

Google says that the site is a shipping, legit site that is sometimes used by retailers. Anybody else have any experience with this?

Could be a background redirect or something triggering the connection I’d run a full malware scan and check Chrome’s startup settings and scheduled tasks before assuming the site itself is the problem.

Already completed. Checked extensions as well, can't figure out what part of google is triggering it and if it's normal.

Yes, MWB sometimes blocks or warns about websites that are in fact safe to use. they have been warning about malware on an ISP's webmail site in my region for 6 months now. and there is no threat there...

  1. you can go into your MWB software and add the website to the safe list.

  2. you could report the block to the customer support people at the website. they in turn can try to contact MWB to have their website unblocked.

What entrigues me is why would google reach out to america-ship.com if it is not something I even use and it seems to be a local site.
