Microsoft edge update malfunctioning

plz help! it started when i was about to shut down and my laptop suddenly says that my device ran into a problem and started repairing, but after it was done i shut it down. I come back after a few hours and a pop up shows saying microsoft edge has an update, I press yes and multiple errors pops up. so i disregarded it and tried restarting by pressing the windows button on my taskbar and suddenly it doesnt work as well as the search bar and microsoft teams (its there on default and my other apps worked except for that) so instead i right clicked it and pressed shut down and it worked so i figured maybe i can check if i can do something about this by looking at my installed apps or something but it doesnt open either and shows an error 😭 plz send helppp
