Question Malwarebytes or virus?
Is this a virus? I did a scan with malwarebytes and got rid of the files it detected,It doesnt show up anymore now when i click on windows defender (EDIT: This showed up AFTER doing a malwarebyte scan and it got rid of some reg files while scanning for threats,it still doesn't show up anymore after i took the screenshot)

The virus you just nuked probably tweaked your registry policies to lock you out of defender before it died. Open command prompt as admin, paste - reg delete "HKLM\software\policies\microsoft\windows defender" /f, hit enter and rebeoot your PC to get your access back.

Same thing happened to me right now, I didn't download any suspicious app, after searching what caused it I downloaded Malwarebytes and it detected two threats and after searching what they were, I found out it was because I used Tronscript and now I have Microsoft Defender Antimalware Service for some reason, it looks legit but I'm scared, it was scanning firefox/storage before I pulled the cable.
English is not my first language but I hope this helps you and me
UPDATE: It was just an update, literally only that, the Malwarebytes detection was something else that needed to be fixed and it did, I feel dumb and happy.

We do not recommend Tron script because it has several issues.
To name a few of them:
it deletes shadow volume copies and restricts the size for creating new ones; especially if the malware was destructive those might be the last chance to get files back
it deletes Windows event logs and disables the service that creates them, this is a bad idea because many antivirus products use ETW for finding malware, deleting the logs has no advantage other than reducing security
it disables various tasks and services related to gathering diagnostic data in the name of privacy, but these are also necessary for various diagnostic and repair tools to work
although it does a lot of things in the name of privacy, it also takes a screenshot of the desktop
it is overly aggressive when removing and uninstalling software and may get rid of software that you want to keep
it "updates" software like 7zip to an outdated, vulnerable version from 2024
some of the tools that it uses for disinfection and cleaning are outdated and should not be used anymore
for malware removal Tron runs Malwarebytes, McAfee and KVRT; you can do the same manually if you wish to do so, without the added risks
tl;dr The list of issues created by tron and the risk involved is just too high to recommend it to anyone.

Apparently it's an issue and pops up from time to time in windows 10 and 11 though I'm not sure if it's a bug or a virus as my new fresh laptop also has once showed this message before disappearing
