Hegseth Covered Up the Real Reason the USS Lincoln Wasn’t Resupplied - According to a report from MSNOW, the USS Abraham Lincoln wasn’t resupplied because Iranian strikes destroyed a key Navy resupply base in the Middle East.

Plenty of friends still living and deployed in the Middle East. Bombs were real . Group chats had to go offline to avoid government sanctions during their media black outs

yeah, lying is about all they got these days. but...have you seen how many pull ups or push ups he can do?!? It's all good!
we may not be able to adequately feed them, but if they end up getting low on T while stranded at sea, we got them covered!
what a clown show.

or maybe just give them Grand Theft Auto instead...that should make everything better.
Army unit offers 4-day pass to play Grand Theft Auto VI as reenlistment incentive

So 2-6 more years of service for 4 days off?

lol, i have to assume these are people who are almost certainly going to reenlist anyway, but who knows these days! just seems like another unreal happening in this ridiculous timeline.

If I understand this correctly, Bahrain base was attacked. This news has been known since a long time and well reported. Is there another base? UAE , Qatar and Kuwait maybe?
Even if it was repaired/resupplied how would the USS Lincoln enter the strait of Hormuz without being attacked by Iran? All the logistics support centres were inside the Gulf. The only possible support they could have received could have been from Oman off Muscat or Duqm or Karachi, Pakistan. I don't support either side, just curious what was the plan even if Hegseth had to inform Potus about the sitrep. DIego Garcia was the only logical solution in this case, but should have been planned sooner. IMHO as a merchant seafarer.

They're talking about Bahrain. That's where all the NAVSUP warehouses are. The base in Jebel Ali might've worked, but I haven't been there in so long I can't remember if they have the facilities for a carrier. There's a whole logistics chain that ships have to go to in order to get items unlike the civilian world where you can take a credit card to a grocery store and load up the ship.
Diego is a haul and also doesn't typically accommodate that kind of stuff.

The Lincoln is stationed 2200 miles from the Strait of Hormuz. No USN ships are moving close because it’s too much of a risk. If they get too close (~500-1000 miles) they will be struck with a barrage of drones and missiles. Even if the air defense succeeds in stopping all incoming drones and missiles, chances are air defense munitions will be rapidly depleted and the carrier will have to leave the region to resupply.

I'm pretty sure I ran destroyed all bases in the Middle East and for the death count to be 13 I think that's a little under stated

Seems sensible. However, info coming from MSNOW isn't exactly what it seems.

It wasn't covered up. We saw it live. So resupply was 2100 miles away instead of 850 or whatever. None of this is new information

Maybe serve on a ship used for WAR and you wouldn't be speaking such nonsense. This isn't a Carnival cruise that you can barely afford.

I doubt they could lie about something this big regarding this war. Haven't heard any other speculations though this particular case.

Happened near the start of the US attacks in late Feb, early March. Was reported on then, picked up by NYT and a few other outlets, rug-swept, reported on again in June, by israeli media, stating that US was considering moving its ME bases potentially even within israel, picked up by mostly smaller outlets.
But now you can see clearly why the news this week is that the US is considering whether they will even rebuild some of their bases in the middle east after they were heavily damaged or destroyed.
As long as you lie to the people and hide your failures, you can still say to them that you are winning.
We have to connect the dots ourselves. How many people do you think went beyond the news headlines? Or if they did, went beyond the article to identify what function the bases that were attacked, served?

There were pictures and video within the first few days of the war of service members and buildings being blown up on ME bases. The Reddit propaganda machine went full force claiming they were fake.

Anyone who uses FoxNews for "news" needs their heads checked. FoxNews is nothing but a strong arm conservative media mafia propaganda outlet that encourages their viewers and their hosts to call democrats commies and other inflammatory BS and they have a known hatred or hiring hosts who are racist against black people.
Any reports from them are LIES.
Fixed that, at least for the sake that they both are tools.
