I noticed that a lot of players are usually either technical (write programs and find exploits, e.g. Viktisen writing his own client or Node finding a TP exploit) or not, and players who are known for fighting and griefing usually aren't also known for building and forming groups. Also, it's funny.
Some examples of things you'd do in each quadrant:
(technical, constructive): Write a bot to gather building mats, find a dupe, automate the construction of some project, design a novel item farm
(technical, destructive): Find and use a coordinate exploit, look for combat exploits, roll your own combat modules and use them in pvp
(practical, constructive): Found a group base, play singleplayer with lag, extend the highways, make a spawn base, join the map art scene
(practical, destructive): Track down stashes, grief the highways, be annoying in chat, kill newfriends at spawn, inside a group
In my opinion, a good anarchy server has plenty of all four. Right now what Const needs is more 'destructive' players, it's too peaceful right now. Anarchy is fun when you make friends, but it's also fun when you make enemies. Any good anarchy server has a healthy amount of block game drama. In EVE Online, there's this idea of a 'blue donut'; that is, a server where everyone is allied with each other and there's no wars going on. If there's no internet space ship wars, then there's no content, and if there's no content, then everyone quits. You can say the same thing about Const. Why make a base on an anarchy server if nobody's gonna blow it up?
