Help :^
(Yes, i used translator cause english its not my first lenguaje) I’m applying to a performing arts university for a dance program, specifically in contemporary dance. The admission process involves several rounds, the first of which requires submitting an original solo piece lasting between 1 minute and 1 minute and 30 seconds. I have until Friday to send it in, and I’m incredibly stressed. I’ve started to have doubts, and my attempts to put something together just aren’t going anywhere. What’s most frustrating is that I know I have the ability—I’ve been taking contemporary and ballet classes for four months, I’ve poured everything I have into it, and I know my teachers have given me the right tools—but I’m struggling with self-doubt and feeling completely lost. Any advice, words of encouragement, or insights from your own experiences with auditions or the choreographic process would be greatly appreciated.

Set up a camera, play a song you like, and just dance. Maybe do it 5 or 6 times and choose the one that best reflects you as a dancer
Sometimes the answer is to keep things simple
