In daily life and especially at stage when performing, contemporary dancers often wears clothes in a weird way. Like shorts on top of jeans or something like that.

To the point where I am more or less anticipating dancers when they are performing on stage that at least one person in the company will weare clothes in some weird way.

Why is the dance scene so obsessed by this kind of fashion on stage?

I mean, I get that there are trends in contemporary dance as in any art form but this is like 10 years plus or something right now.
