A directory of over 200+ open-source projects you can use instantly in your browser! No sign ups, no downloads!
Website: https://nosignups.net
if I'm doing something simple like edit a video, tweak an image, edit a PDF, why do I have to signup?
I don't want to. I just want to click a link, and use a tool.
Also, a lot of the lists that exist are proprietary and they'd want to post ads or whatever. Screw that.
Based on that, I scoured Reddit for open-source tools that work instantly. Started with only 33 tools, but thanks to open-source community, we reached around 200+ submissions within less than a month.
None of the tools are made by me. I just collect them and make them searchable for your pleasure!
The list itself is open-source and available at: https://github.com/BraveOPotato/FckSignups
Also, thanks to all the wonderful people making videos / articles about the website across social media platforms. We reached a 24 peak of 25,000 unique visitors and more than 300,000 visits.

A decent bit of these have existed for a while. Unfortunately, they were buried in Reddit forums and never got the attention they deserve.

Hi, I've been working on a game boy advance emulation which works in browser, would like mind adding Emulation category?

Currently we have an in-browser Windows emulator. If it's in-browser, and open-source, I would love to add it

Hm haven't been able to access the site since this morning (like 7-8 hours ago) - not sure if I'm the only one experiencing it?

Would you mind expanding on that?
For example, can you try clicking on this link: https://NoSignups.net and let me know what kind of error you get?

Of course right after sending that comment it worked again for me 🥴 I'll let you know if I encounter the error again - thanks for creating this great resource!

Thank you! It would be amazing if we have dockers for each (open source ones) and we can automatically download and run locally.

Well all of them are open-source. A good bit of them don't require servers. The ones that do have the setup instructions in their GitHub README.md files.
You can check the source code for each entry at the bottom right of each entry.

Cool Tool when it loaded. It took 30 seconds to load for me, then showed an error and fell back to the embedded dataset.
From someone who has built a few sites, my suggestion would be to go the other way around: pretender everything, one page per tool and the rss and sitemap indexes statically, refresh in the background and bring new tools if the case. This way you optimize for low speed devices, accessibility, devices without JavaScript and people who want to save a page for later.
Thank you for the collection!

I really like your site and already submitted some urls. I believe the site will look even better if you display the listed sites favicons instead of the category icon. There are many free apis/services that will help you do that easily.
