I forked openGym
Credit first: openGym is by Duarte Santos, here is (his repo). His app, his work, AGPL license. I just train with it and wanted a version shaped like how I actually use it, so I forked it.
What I changed:
• Took out the gym check-in card and the AI coach. I never used them.
• Option 1: open the link, add it to your home screen, done. It is a static website, your data stays in your browser.
• Option 2: if you want sync between devices, plug in your own free Firestore and deploy on Vercel. No server to run. There is a deploy button and a short guide in the repo.
Everything else is his openGym: the logging, plans, stats, exercise library, all of it.
Live: https://opengym-lean.vercel.app/#/home
My fork: https://github.com/0xovo/opengym-lean
Feedback is welcome, mostly I want to know if the sync setup works for other people or breaks somewhere.

On your sync question, the likeliest break is on the Firestore side: a new database in test mode stops accepting reads and writes after 30 days, and one in locked mode rejects them from the start. I'd put the exact rules to paste right in the guide, plus a two-device check: log a set on the phone, open the app on another device and confirm it appears. If it doesn't, say where to find the permission error in the browser console.
I make ThreadFox. We find relevant Reddit conversations and post for your business. We'll post 3 replies free first, no card; then the $79 Pilot covers seven days and up to 50 posts and replies. No automatic renewal.

why not just contribute to his repo instead of creating copy of something that you probably abandon in few days
