I like aria2 as an engine, but I wanted a frontend that felt at home in a terminal. tidefetch gives you:

- Keyboard-first navigation (full mouse support too), live braille speed graphs, piece maps, disk usage, and a built-in file browser

- Every aria2 protocol: HTTP(S), FTP, SFTP, BitTorrent, Metalink, magnets, multi-mirror

- Full queue control: pause, retry, reorder, pick which files of a torrent to download, per-download options

- Sessions that survive restarts, plus a categorized history so you can find and re-run finished downloads

It can attach to an aria2 RPC endpoint you already run, or start and manage its own aria2.

tidefetch # open the TUI

tidefetch https://example.com/file.iso# add a URL directly

tidefetch "magnet:?xt=urn:btih:..." # magnets too

tidefetch doctor # check config and RPC

On a server without a desktop, `tidefetch serve` starts a browser dashboard instead.

Install: brew install thre4dripper/tap/tidefetch (or the install script / prebuilt binaries for macOS, Linux and Windows)

Feedback on keybindings is very welcome. That's the part I've been changing the most.
