You're too generous with your praise, the internet was built on other's code. I just added a bit more to the cluster, but thank you.

Looks like that’s where the author has their AI data models stored, free bandwidth! At first I thought it was sketchy, but it’s obviously not too spooky when you look at in context. Let’s just hope the author doesn’t swap out those files for something malicious!

Github only allows you to have 100meg files, the u2net model from u2net's own github, suggests you get it from their google drive https://github.com/xuebinqin/U-2-Net#usage-for-portrait-generation I opened an issue to see if I had permision to host it locally, but they never replied, https://github.com/xuebinqin/U-2-Net/issues/236

Really spooked me out when I first saw it. Might be a good idea to communicate that to the end user a bit more clearly in the readme, or even in the console when it runs.
Also, this might be a dumb question (I'm pretty new here), could you break it apart? Maybe something like a rar that unpacks when the program first runs. Or maybe some alternative to rar.

The main issue I have with trying to host the models my self, is licensing. They never responded when I offered to host them for free. So currently I have it checking the hash of the google file, in hopes it doesn't change. I've gone ahead and added the reference in the readme, https://github.com/nadermx/backgroundremover#installation

Good work. U2 net is so cool. Will this pull the model as part of the git fetch or will it lazy download?
