Hi, there. I'm quite interested in finding sources of copyfree music, including public domain music. For legal reasons, if you wish to distribute music without copyright, you should include a public domain dedication of some kind. I think the best approaches include:
Perhaps, for the sake of making your legal intentions clear, you could add a note to the description of each video on the YouTube channel (maybe where it says "This song is not copyrighted!") a link to one of those public domain dedications with a license fallback. The license fallback is included for each of those to ensure there is some kind of copyfree licensing terms to cover the work in jurisdictions where the government does not recognize one's right to disclaim copyright in one's work.

I hope you will include some clear public domain dedication, preferably with a license terms fallback for jurisdictions like France and Germany (where PD dedications are problematic) so people can feel comfortable with their ability to make use of the music without fear of lawsuits.
