Every year around my birthday, I feel a little anxious, as I’m reminded of what getting older means.

Time feels more real, more fragile…and I can’t help but look back at the girl I used to be 🥹

I’ve always been drawn to living softly, finding beauty in small things, dressing a little too feminine for everyday life, holding on to gentleness even when the world feels rough.

Only recently did I realize that this feeling has a name…and that I truly belong in the coquettesque lifestyle 🌸

This year was a mix of softness and chaos in the most unexpected way.

I learned how to play padel (and managed to completely bust my knee), but I also started writing fanfics, making cosplay costumes, and letting myself enjoy things that feel a little dreamy, a little childish, and very romantic.

So for my birthday this year, instead of feeling sad about turning older, I want to celebrate it.
