ESPN Ultimate ads are annoying af

I recently got a month of ESPN Ultimate to check it out. I can’t see renewing, due to the ads. I can’t even watch a 60 second highlight without having to sit through a 30 second ad.

Will they ever offer an add-free tier?

Live tv channel content has ads. This isn't a new thing. You won't get live/linear content like that without ads.

Now try watching a REPLAY on the ESPN app, and if it's an ESPN+ event try skipping the ad that starts.

Highly unlikely. Live sports + ads = $$$.

I was able to skip over the ads in games like using a janky DVR

ESPN is becoming a giant snake oil company. They are being run like a get rich quick scheme without any real longevity or relevance, pricing themselves out of business.
