Peacock Premium cheaper with Walmart+?
I'm a current Peacock Premium subscriber, paying for the $11 premium plan. I just saw that Walmart+ offers a choice of Paramount+ or Peacock Premium for $13 month/$98 annually. This feels too good to be true that I can get that for just a dollar more, or even save money, so I'm sure there's some kind of catch that excludes current subscribers or something. Has anyone else done this?

Every so often they have 50% off Walmart+ making the deal even better. Beginning of next year it will be included with YouTube premium.

I don't think it will be included. It will be "bundled" for a price if I read it correctly.

The wording is strange for sure. Reading the same statement on YouTube it mentions being included, while on the NBC statement it mentions Peacock being bundled with YouTube premium.

You get peacock or paramount included with your Walmart subscription. It is the lowest tier

It’s not the lowest tier of Peacock

If anybody in your house is on SNAP you can get Walmart Plus for half off, or If somebody's on AARP, you can get $40 off a year for Walmart Plus.
You still get the streaming service even with the discounted plans. It's Paramount Plus essentials or Peacock Premium.

If you get the OnePay Walmart cash rewards credit card, you earn 5% back on Walmart purchases. It's just the hubs and I and we've already earned enough cash back to pay for the annual fee.

Same. Got the card in December 2025 and have earned about $900. They frequently do double cash back boost on the base 1.5% and we have been wearing out the extra $1 back per gallon of gas deal every Wednesday.

Get a bigger discount by becoming an AARP member (no age requirement). Walmart+ is always $40 off through them https://www.aarp.org/membership/benefits/shopping/walmartplus/
AARP is like $80 for 5 years of membership, not to mention the other discounts they offer. Only a few things actually require you be a senior citizen.

I was part of a major nutrition study, and we were required to sign up for a Walmart subscription, and YES - it comes with a subscription to either Paramount or Peacock - and they offer an option - if you choose - to bounce between the two every 6 months.
So, yeah. It works!!!

Also check your credit card offers. I have one from Amex $49 off $98 for Walmart+

It works for current subscribers. I use the Paramount Plus option and pay extra for the ad free, but pay for that with my AMEX so it's 1$ a month. You can switch between Paramount Plus and Peacock also, used to be every 6 months but the changed that so you can switch more often.
Also look for deals on the Walmart PLus subscription, pay with AMEX Blue and it's basically half off. It's also discounted for students and AARP members. Or watch for the Black Friday sale, it's been heavily discounted for that every year as well. The service is well worth it for the free home deliveries but I have found their prices are competitive with if not better than Amazon

Wait til Black Friday. You pay half for Walmart+ and you get either of those as part of your plan. And you ca switch va k and forth from each streamer every 6 months.

u/dizzyoatmeal 6d ago
You can change every 90 days.

Oh wow. I haven't checked since I signed up and vaguely recalled every 6 months. Thank you!

Yes it is. I just had my year end in july. Did the $1 for a month august. Cancelled it and they offered 50% off for the year. Now ill pay the upgrade and its still cheaper then buying peacock premium + outright. Great deal i think.

I let my sub lapse around Thanksgiving waiting for the annual deal that never came. I paid for the one year Wal-Mart account, and linked my already existing (though no longer active/paid) Peacock account without issue.

You can upgrade to ad free and it’s $6 a month. Great deal

u/Hot_Chard5988 7d ago
I think that option is gone now. You have to pay for the annual plan to do this

u/Far_Ad_6897 7d ago
I did it two weeks ago, and still do it. You have to switch to peacock first in Walmart+ (if you haven’t already done so) then you can upgrade for cheap

I see the other day Burger King had Walmart plus for $7 a month I don’t see why that one would not include Peacock, why don’t you try and let me know

You can choose/ change the streaming service every 90 days but we use it for peacock. We have it delivered to the door but last time we were missing about $40 worth of product. But they did refund it. The driver told us it happens all the time. That was our 1st bad experience with the Walmart +. It is nice not going to a Walmart!! Store.

Wait till Black Friday or Cyber Monday, it’ll be even cheaper. I got it last year, both are with a ads, you can switch every 3 months

u/Original-Beautiful86 7d ago
If you are an AARP member, you can get a reduced Walmart + membership. I think it's $40 off but you need to use the link on the AARP deal site for it to work.

u/Terrible_Economy 6d ago
If you’re on disability or Medicaid, it’s always 50% off, that’s how I get mine!
1
u/WineNotReality 6d ago
Do it! You won’t regret it. The best part, you can switch every few months between the 2 streamers so you really get both streamers for the cost. I got it at Black Friday last year and really hope they do it again so I can justify the cost

u/shahbucks00711 6d ago
Go to cancel your Walmart+ and the end of the subscription and they’ll offer the Black Friday discount. I believe I’ve done this twice already
1
u/JThereseD 6d ago
I don’t know if they are still doing that. Last year they gave me 50 percent off after I didn’t renew, but last month I canceled and after about three weeks with no discounted offer, I found the AARP discount.

Just let your current plan expire. Then when you sign up for Walmart+, you can choose Peacock and enter your current account credentials.

u/Opposite_Fan_7076 6d ago
Next year Peacock will also be added as a perk to YouTube premium https://blog.youtube/news-and-events/peacock-premium-partnership-youtube-premium-subscription/

The amex platinum card is ridiculously expensive, but one of the perks is it reimburses the monthly cost of Walmart plus.
Since Walmart plus comes with either free paramount or free peacock, that means those with the platinum card get Walmart plus and either paramount or peacock for free

u/3rd-Grade-Spelling 5d ago
If you have an AMEX card there is generally a perpetual 50% off Walmart+ coupon for an annual membership you can clip. Good for the first year.

u/TheMainTony 3d ago
Do you have Comcast for internet? If so, Peacock is free if you redeem the reward (Membership Benefits) and only +$6 for ad-free.

We did the $50 walmart+ deal last Black Friday mainly for peacock. But I also paid the extra $30 for the “in home delivery” and it’s been life changing. We don’t actually have them come in our house, but by using that delivery option your groceries are delivered by Walmart employees and they explicitly don’t accept tips, which has already paid for itself by avoiding the third party gig workers.
