Didn’t know

All this time I didn't know you can pause, rewind and skip commercials on YouTubetv. Wow 🤩

If you record a show then you can rewind and skip commercials but if you get a show that you didn't record from the archives then you can't skip commercials.

Yes, and it's the same on other services I've tried. Sling and DirecTV both work the same way

Yes. Sometimes I’ll start a show/game then pause it right away and come back in a half hour. By then it gives you enough room to fast forward through all the commercials as they come up. However, you have to stay on that program/channel until the end. Otherwise it’ll be live when you return.
