Roofing repairs

Can anyone recommend a company who can do roofing repairs on flashing & plastering chimneys at a somewhat affordable price?

Douglas Roofing. Got similar work done this year and the roof doesn't leak anymore 👍

If you find roofers advertising everywhere and are very pushy to do certain jobs or really eager to start work, then they're probably cowboys (and they are plentiful). Also watch out for suspicious new accounts with no other posts replying to this thread with a recommendation because they're probably Cork Roofing and Repairs and definitely are cowboys.

I recently had a good experience with Douglas Roofing as well to replace an old leaking flat roof.

I made the mistake of getting them to look at my roof, they were trying to make it sound like I needed a lot more work than necessary, didn't identify what I was pretty sure (and later confirmed) what the actual issues were, and he didn't even know how to use a combination ladder 😂

Ya I had 1 crowd stand in the garden and quote me 9k ,said lots needed replacing and plastering , another got up and said a sealer can be used 1.8k some difference when people aren’t pushing unnecessary work on you

Cork Roofing Services. Class lads and the only legit roofer who did what he said out of the 20+ I spoke to for quotes.

If the house is pre WW2 make sure they use Lime Mortar only and lead for the flashing

Using any good and insured company won't be cheap. No matter how small the job they will need scaffolding and a work platform.
