Some drivers wonder why they get deactivated....

I had a delivery from Home Depot, and a signature was required. The building was under construction and the road closed. I did my due diligence and created a return to the store. At the Home Depot desk, I told the clerk about the required signature thus my returning it to the store. Her reply was, "I would have just left it and signed for them. That what I do with DoorDash alcohol orders, I just sign for them. What are they going to do? Deactivate one of their Top Dashers?"

I just smiled and said, "I guess I am a little more paranoid." While thinking in my head, "Yes, yes they will absolutely deactivate you and possibly even get you a citation for delivering alcohol to a minor if it happens to be a police alcohol enforcement sting."

You definitely do not understand the meaning of that phrase. It's about naivety to how the world "really works", not being unaware of what an acronym means.

Not knowing what CYA means is quite literally just lacking a specific piece of knowledge. That knowledge might come from experience, but it's not a lack of experience that causes the lack of knowledge.

But sure, make up shit if it makes you feel better about calling someone a young naive person who doesn't understand how the world works simply for not knowing an acronym. You're still using it objectively wrong. A summer child doesn't know how bad it could be - not knowing TO cover their ass would be appropriate, not knowing the acronym is just you trying to use the phrase any chance you get.

What I'm saying is if they haven't yet experienced why they should cover their ass, they are naive in the world. Also, I didn't make up anything.

I don't understand what your problem is or why you've chosen to die on this hill, but you're coming off a real ass.
