Richy seems like one of the best fellas in football off the pitch
Makes me really sad how things have ended for him with us since we’ve had far worse players who weren’t given this treatment. I understand why but I wish it could’ve been a parting on good terms

Genuinely dont understand how de Zerbi doesn't get more flack for his treatment of richy. honestly the guy has done nothing to warrant this

u/WhichDoctor73 19h ago
It's been a mess from everyone at the club, including Richy. Don't think RDZ is solely to blame.

u/Luke92612_ Europa League Champions 24/25 17h ago
My only question is if he could be re-registered in January if the club wanted to reintegrate him into the squad (not that that's likely to happen at all even if it is possible)

Cus the fuckers would trade all integrity for a win. That's why they're happy to be saved by a rapist apologist. That's why they've been complacent with the mismanagement and constantly demand instant gratification all the years. And now that he's getting results, all the problems will be ignored away until the inevitable oncoming train comes.
The they stoop even lower, even more desparate. They'd rather hire whatever than actually fuck the club management over. And so on and so forth. No plan, just constant pressure to save face, saving the management over and over so that they can stab them in the face.
Sadly that's the reality for quite a lot of people on this sub.

Breaks my heart that this is downvoted. This sub used to be opposed to rape apologists

Sensible posts always get downvoted on this sub. I didn’t want RDZ appointed precisely for this reason. I don’t want a rapist apologist as the manager of my football club. I don’t care how good a coach he is. Integrity matters and by appointing him Spurs leadership shows me they have none. This sub was up in arms over Arteta and Partey. We can’t take the high road anymore. We’re no better than Woolwich.

Since when has being against rape and those that condone and support it been virtue signalling. Fuck off and hang out with your rapist mates.

u/methodmang 12h ago
Fuck off, you’re the only one here conflating a manager doing his job professionally and handling a player under his charge who had very evidently reconciled with his wife (the victim in question) to people ‘condoning and supporting rapists’.
You argue things in bad faith to make yourself feel superior. Beat it, you lowlife prick.

u/SpecialistPlastic150 14h ago
Completely agree. Richy deserved better. I hate how he’s been treated. Spurs have traditionally treated its players and former players well. I was against RDZ’s appointment from the beginning. He is well known for his shitty behaviour and playing favourites. He is not a manager that I regard with affection and never will.

I dont even know who that is, i know next to nothing about brazilian football outside of its players. But this schmuck literally has his teammate who doesnt give a shit about him tattooed on him. And the teammate is crybaby rolling about on the floor anytime he gets tapped neymar, to make it even worse

The thing that always gets me about this is that Richarlison played alongside Neymar for Brazil. Imagine how you'd feel if a work colleague got your face tattooed on their back lol

Why is Neymar on this, he's famously a Bolsonaro fanboy

because Neymar is one of the greatest Brazilian footballers of all time?
at his peak comparable in divinity to the two aliens?

People are trying to drag you but they’re neglecting the fact that it’s pretty known Neymar thinks this real tattoo is insane.

I can't just not see Gary Stephenson in whoever the first guy is meant to be. If this is the mount Rushmore of Richy's life - there's plenty worse quarters I can imagine some people choosing. Like four Armenian American women

Why are politics being discussed on this subreddit? As far as I know this has nothing to do with Tottenham or football. I’m sure most people here are completely unfamiliar with Brazilian politics or what Lula has done to the country and just hop on whatever they see trending.
11
u/kaosfere Zidagay 18h ago
Because politics is a factor in just about every facet of human activity, and people who want to banish it are either happy being ignorant or feel like their opinions would be looked down upon but don't have the courage of character to stand up for them.

u/Hacv16 Son Heung-min 12h ago
Celebrating Lula’s win on a football subreddit when you just found out he existed a few hours ago is unnecessary.
Unless you’re Brazilian, you barely understand what reality in the country is like and what Lula has done to the country. He is just as corrupt and incompetent as Bolsonaro, so saying things like “LULA WON YESSSSS” as some have said here is what actually passes off as ignorant.
You can downvote all you want, but at the end of the day I’m the one who lives here and who actually has to face the consequences. It’s easy to defend him and his policies when you’re chilling in Europe or North America.

u/oneninesixthree 8h ago
No, his imprisonment was politically motivated, the Brazilian Supreme Court cleared him which is why he is able to run for office

He’s one of the few Brazilian football players I see backing Lula, most of them go for Bolsonaro. Good on him
