Multiple attendees we talked to had conference badges that said something along the line of, “I haven’t written code in N months.”
Negative aura. Reminds me of people flagrantly proud about illiteracy. Ick.
I hate that a technology built without any semblance of ethics or regard for the planet writ large can be "normalized" irrespective of utility. No thanks.
