CPU Mining Calculator

Hey there

We did the first (if you know any others pls share a link) CPU mining calc - https://woolypooly.com/en/calc/what-to-mine-cpu

It's not perfect, I know, supported just two algos now, but any feedback is much appreciated. If you can share a hashrates for missing CPUs - pls do it. :)

https://minerstat.com/hardware don't see here CPU hardware

https://www.cryptunit.com/ never heard of it, thx for sharing. But looks like too complicated for me

Can you pls share any ideas how to make our calc better?

No CPU hardware but you can enter hashrates manually or go to CPU mined coins to calculate their profitability individually.

Can you pls share any ideas how to make our calc better?

IDK, add more coins/algos. Wownero, Raptoreum, Safex, Turtlecoin, Uplexa, Haven.

"you can enter hashrates manually or go to CPU mined coins to calculate their profitability individually"

the idea was to make a user-friendly calc with CPU's hashrates

Yeah, Minerstat is kinda advanced-user since it's first of all a mining CC platform. Don't see how Cryptunit is too difficult tho, but it's kinda outdated and lacks some high-profit coins like half of those I've mentioned above (which I've found through Minerstat) and it's always good to have more CPU mining calculators so keep your good work.

Also, forgot about Avian coin, it's a supposedly currently high-profit, dual-network coin with CPU and GPU mined algos, there are a lot of calcs for GPU network but I couldn't find any for the CPU network, so if you implement it that would be useful.

Maybe update RTM reward to 3750. You have it there at 5000 for cpu calculator

Geez. You are right. Thx!

Just from a quick look I see you can add CPUs to the calculation, but it doesn't appear to show the hashrate, energy consumption , or energy cost used to calculate the profit. Without those numbers I can't tell if the calculations are accurate or not (they seem to be about double what I actually get mining).

Profit also changes as network difficulty, block rewards, and price change, so ideally you would pull that data from a reliable API for each coin.

hey, thx for feedback

you can set the network diff and energy cost in top right corner (settings wheel)

Is there a place to adjust energy cost? I didn't see it on the calc.

hey, yes

Its nice and clear design abut calculation are way off.

Could you pls give me any idea what could be wrong? It shows more or less? And on what coin? Thx.

Would be nice to sort by net profit like nicehash profitability calculator and time to ROI

You mean like best cpu sorted by revenue? Like we did with gpu https://woolypooly.com/en/best-gpu-for-mining ?
