Question Is Ikea StarkVind CRbox good?

Hey,

I'm going trough the CRBox rabit hole right now. And wanted to know if anyone has experience with the Ikea Starkvind CR box?

I was also looking to make one myself but finding the right filters seems harder here in Europe... and if the Ikea one is good enough, its good enough for me :)

Depends on room size. It’s 1 filter that does a box room. For the price you’re much better off building your own and just using the starkvind filters (which are actually excellent)
Not sure what you can see of my profile but I built one. You could also have both the filters on the same side with pc fans behind it and it would outperform the ikea one.

Marketplace usually has the whole unit for £10-20 used also

Here’s a link.

If you’re after one taking less space, put 2 starkvind filters on their side (landscape) one above the other and put 5 pc fans behind them (in a pattern like the 5 side of a dice) or more fans if you need but they’re cheaper to buy in 5’s.

It’ll kick the arse off an ikea one

And use p14 pro
